I don't think she does all her cosplays, kerrigan for exemple, i saw making of pictures and she was just waiting on a corner spending time on her phone when a great team was making the suit. I didn't see any other making of pictures, i think she's especially a model, not a crafter.
Yeah i'm a hater and i don't really like when someone has success for something he didn't make on his own.
Photographers and crafters who worked for her are also very good but not always mentionned on description...

Its the same as a singer. Someone else writes the music and plays it. They just sing. Maybe dancer would be a better example.

One thought I just wanna propose, not a fan of her nor am I trying to argue -

If the props / photography team got paid for their work and she paid for the material, does she need to credit them? They were commissioned and paid for their work by the cosplay group she works with - they have their own prop team that they hire and is a professional group. That's where the props team will be listed and credited.

Another thought: Do you go around and give credit for the socks you wear, the clothes you wear, the shoes, the blankets, and everyday necessities? No, not 100% of the time. And the things that have brand names listed don't really count - they're a part of the overall design that raises the value of said product.

Yes she is successful from the help of other people, but that doesn't change the fact that it took her physical body and the attributes of her genetic structure to bring the cosplays to life. She's a model / cosplayer. It's EXTREMELY rare to find models in American society that credit every single prop they wear. You don't see movie stars crediting the brands you see in their movies - they credit the props team for movie set stuff yes, but its not a requirement and not everyone credits their props team.

I personally believe you're using this as an excuse to give misguided hate and jealousy, as you could have left this comment off of this cosplayer's profile and kept it to yourself if you felt that this was your true feelings. It just makes you look bad in general as a cosplayer to be throwing unnecessary shade at someone that has a lot more experience in cosplaying and is looked up to as an inspiration.

Furthermore, there is a work or two in your gallery where the photographer is not labeled. So you seem very hypocritical with this statement and I hope that this comment doesn't spark a negative response, but merely sparks a thought or two for the future about how you will regard these types of situations.

Best regards.

the difference is that nobody assumes that she made the "socks you wear, the clothes you wear, the shoes, the blankets, and everyday necessities".

The point is that:
other people's artistic content used by someone for his work should always be credited.

I don't know about Tasha, but surely a cosplayer who creates everything by herself is more original that someone who only wears it.

Original does not necessitate good.

Also, if you are so worried about crediting work, then if someone were to have a costume inspired from a movie/game/comic/series/etc, you would surely need to credit the entire art/design team from said property as well as the costume creator wouldn't you.  Oh you mean... that doesn't ever happen... and the art/ design team doesn't care because they got paid for their work?

That said, sure credit the creator of the piece but don't act like it is a divine imperative passed down from on high if you don't give credit to the people who ACTUALLY designed the thing in the first place.

I wrote that cause most people who go on her pictures think that she did it herself and she doesn't mention crafters or answer to any comments, i hate when someone get glory from something he didn't make and internet is a really great tool to make this sort of mistake easily, you just have to post a picture, say it's you and limit the credit. I sold a cosplay to a girl who never mentionned me in her facebook page and then everyone were thinking it was his own work. I do commissions for pleasure and also for publicity cause if nobody knows it's my work how can i continue this little job ? Lot of cosplayers had this sort of experience when they sell there costume and it don't make them wanted to continue. Cosplay's contest are also victim of it, there are liars who pretend that they did themself their cosplay when they bought it. Because of that jury need to be very mistruful and other participants too, it makes a very bad ambiance.

For everyday's clothes it's obvious it's not you who did it, no need to tell, if someone like it he just has to ask you where you bought it, nobody will thinks you did it yourself...

Yes her body is perfect, not only for cosplay, but there is lot of pretty babes who wear great costumes, but personnaly i like everything in cosplay : crafter, model and photographer, so when it's just a model who just need to be pretty and pay for great costumes, photoshoot and surgery who get all glory i think it gives to much deserve to money and physic, artisans are left behind...

No i'm not jealous cause i don't even know what she cans do herself exept being pretty and taking pose, maybe i'm jealous of her money and beauty ? No i'm just sick of popularity system in cosplay and other sectors...

And then, for my gallery, i'm sorry for photographers that i forgot and can't mention them, but most of time i mention everything on my description, i mostly do all my cosplays myself so i don't need to mention lot of people, it's sure it's easier when you publish selfies.

And then, sorry for my bad english, i'm french, and this year in france some greats cosplayers had been burgle, some bad people are stealing cosplays probably to resell it, i just can't have a great opinion for bought cosplay when this sort of stupid trafic is starting and people don't want to tell they bought it...
